The Louis Rossman thing? Yeah that guy doesn't take shit when it comes to right to repair Get link Facebook X Pinterest Email Other Apps April 22, 2021 The Louis Rossman thing? Yeah that guy doesn't take shit when it comes to right to repair funny 144 Likes 19 Comments Tara Gordon Jared Hans Atienza The real question here: Is anyone really surprised? Zainab Abbas Chai Wala you don't become one of the largest companies, by being fair and reasonable priced Jean Basile Some You need an undercover investigator for that? You Seong Lew Some years ago, i had unidentifiable problem with my PC (i bought a pre-built, a silly young padawan me), so i sent it to a company i bought it from (biggest electronic company in my country). They had a legal obligation to return it within a month, and surely enough, they returned it on the 30th day, with explanation that ''everything is alright, there is no problem'' (repairman probably got a hold on that PC on 29th day in the evening). Week later my dad takes it to a local eletronics shop owned by some 60 year old guy. He meddled in my PC for 10 minutes and concluded that PSU is barely working. He built in a new one, we payed a small fee on top of the prise of PSU, and after that my PC was working for years. Fuck big companies. Always go to local businesses. Georgette Eid Tyler Schwenk Ever heard of Luis Rossman? Christopher M Mccard Apple does this since ages. One time they purposely put water on the moisture detector themselves and fucking accused the owner of damaging the laptop himself and asked him almost $1000 for a new mother board. That company is one big fucking scam I swear. The products themselves are okay but the marketing department and bureaucracy deserves to die in hell. Apple and Disney are the worst and companies on earth I swear. The level of mocking their own clientele is beyond shaming and despicable. Johnny Jdog Jenkins What do you call an apple customer? an iDiot Marion Proudley Buying any Apple device is like buying a piece of abstract art: the value (price paid) is only important to the person that bought it and to the person selling it - everyone else thinks it's an expensive PoS. Juliet Okoro funny is how most of the time poor people are attracted af to those expensive brands.. as if it would change something in their life. it does not. Fatimah Amin Cory Cruz Apple is overpriced in every aspect. But, nothing can be fixed for $0 unless you do it yourself. Last week I made some work for a customer that spent around $40K with me. It took me around 2 hours and I didn't charged him because he's a good customer. But that doesn't mean the work is worth $0. Marchell Magarro Aquino Replace Apple with any random pc brand of equal size. (Packard Bell, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Dell, etc) and it’s still a valid statement. But I must admit, Apple tops the list. Mostly because of the miniaturization, everything is on a single board, so most problems, unless repairable, are fixed by replacing the entire logic board. I really like the OS, but I really dislike the “need for everything to be thinner” that apple has going for them. April Engada Taberna Loool it's basically apple. There are to a of videos showing that bar genius are formed to replaced your all product. Apple is crap, like real crap, not a rich crap, you stupid if you buy apple. Saba Faheem This is why you don't buy apple Nunik Milagros Bekasi To be fair if i can charge $1200 for a service that cost me $0 and takes no time and people are dumb enough to give that money to me, i would do it. I really hate Apple, but i have to hand it to them, they know their clients. Wanda Dodge I sold my old iPhone to my friend. His sound was broken and the tech support needed to change the complete bottom of the phone to fix that. He told them he‘d buy it from me, they asked if I still have the recipe to prove it. I did, so they gave him a 600€ repair for free Libby Cronen Thats not ridiculous, thats Apple's business policy. And apparently it is working very well, they are making billions of dollars on their customers. Apple is not the idiot in this equation. Mercy Atienza Pillone As bad as Apple's products and business ethics are, it's extremely important for them to exist and also succeed to a certain extent . . . . . . . Cause that keeps the idiots away from Windows and the cost to performance ratio stays good for non Apple products Sarah McMurrough My bro had a problem charging his iPhone. Sometimes it just didn’t charge. Went to apple service. They said they can fix this for 120 $. He didn’t have the money so he came home. Later same evening I got pissed of his complains. Took a toothpick and rolled out a huge pile of dust out of the charging hole. Works fine. Get link Facebook X Pinterest Email Other Apps Comments
