Lost my entire home villages population to a raid yesterday. I wasnt aware that this mechanic even existed when i triggered it by accident. With only iron equipment i simply stood no chance at all despite two Iron Golems.

Okay thanks for this post I have a question. I played Minecraft yesterday after god knows how many years, I saw these fuckers near a tower, killed them and a bit later they raided the town nearby. Okay I figured that's what they do. I also figured that whenever you kill one of these with the banner, they will attack the town. But how the fuck are you supposed to defend the town, if defending the town means you have to kill the one with the banner, but killing the one with the banner just results in another raid? So it just goes on and on and on. How the fuck do you stop the raids?
