A sword has a handle that goes all around the tang, and the tang and hilt are attached by the pommel. A knife or a messer have a tang that's the same shape as the handle. The steel of the tang touches your hand. And the handle is attached to the tang by rivets. Anyway, it's beautiful. Kathleen Mccarthy Gotta say, the pattern on the blade looks gorgeous, but the hilt ruins everything, also it lack a guard and a pommel, therefore it is quite unbalanced as a sword, it may work as a heavy duty machete or other similar, but as a sword designed for fighting it seems dangerous for the user, as balance is a great issue, as you say custom made, i hope the crafter can redisigned, otherwise is a bad buy. Holly Beckwick isn't that a filet knife or smth like that ? I think it's a bit short for a sword and lack a few arrengement at the handle and the guard. Mary Cox Morris Ggja Tabo Tabo Doesn't have a crossguard or other type of hand protection. It's a knife. Get link Facebook X Pinterest Email Other Apps Comments
